When I was growing up we used to go to Mexico every December for Christmas. I have great memories of Santa para-sailing onto the beach, in shorts of course, and sipping on a Kir Royales with my mom. Now my mom hardly ever had a drink, but every once in a while when we were on vacation we could get her to indulge…in one. Her and my dad’s rules were, when in Rome do as the Romans. So, after we were 18…er, 16…we were allowed to have one drink, does Mexico have a legal drinking age? Since my mom is not longer with us, I thought sipping a Kir Royale would be the perfect drink for this New Year’s Eve! For those of you that have never had one, they are wonderful. Creme de Cassis is a liquor made from blackcurrants and add the bubbly…yum-o! You can read all about the history of Kir Royales here.

Now that you have the drink, here are some great printables to add to the party.
