Lebanon Horse and Carriage Parade

This post isn’t about a craft, it isn’t a D.I.Y, a project or even a sweet treat.  Every once in awhile we do something so special that I just have to share a “moment” with you.   The last moment I shared was when we headed downtown Cincinnati to Eden Park to kick off the holidays with Balluminaria.  This time we we headed the other direction, northeast to the town of Lebanon Ohio for their 22nd annual Horse and Carriage Parade.  This is such a wonderful event for all ages.  There are around 140 horse drawn carriages, all decorated for the holidays.  There are booths selling crafts, food, and holiday goodies.

Every year I have gone, the parade wraps up with Clydesdales.  They come stomping down the street, their hooves clapping on the pavement, and my kids scream with delight!   It is truly a holiday treat!
